An exciting and engaging learning experience for age 15+ in Westchester, NY.
Join us for 3-4 weeks and experience the thrill and challenge of learning to fly a Robinson R44 helicopter, one of the most widely used models in civilian aviation.
Safe, uncrowded, individual training sessions.
No prior flying experience required.
Program Details
- Students must be at least 15 years old by September 30, 2023.
- Fly with Wings Air Helicopters, a trusted and safe flight school in business since 2002.
- Location: Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY.
- 1 hour ground training and 1 hour flight training per day, 5 days a week for 3-4 weeks (flexible from June to September, weather dependent).
- Hours count towards FAA Private Pilot License (PPL-H) requirements. (Yes, you can continue flying after completion of this program to obtain your pilot’s license.)
Program Cost: $10,950*
- Program cost includes 15 hours of helicopter time + 15 hours of ground training + Student Pilot Kit;
- Program cost does not include FAA medical exam or Aircraft Renter’s Insurance recommended for student pilots;
