As we prepare for the weather to get better, we need to put a list together of what to do while enjoying the sunshine! Spring offers a ton of fun things to check out in the city, and we want to help save you time and put together some worthwhile things to visit!
With the nice weather right around the corner it’s the perfect time to get out and fly. You can check out one of our NYC helicopter tours, or step outside the city and take a trip to enjoy a picnic upstate.
If you’re looking for something to do on the ground, we’ve got you covered there too!
Tribeca Film Festival
April is just around the corner, and so is the Tribeca Film Festival. From April 18th-28th there will be movies showing, talks with successful “story tellers”, a master class on writing in film, and so much more. Whether you have a passion for film, or have always wanted to go to a film festival, this might be for you.
The Bloody Mary Festival
Do you love brunching while enjoying a tasty Bloody Mary? The Bloody Mary Liberation Party has spent time searching the 5 boroughs for the best bloodys in town, and on April 8th you can see what they’ve found. There will be food, live music, and fun all around.
Daffodil Celebration and Wine Weekend
This event is one you can’t miss. The New York Botanical Gardens will be hosting a weekend long event showcasing more than a dozen New York Wineries, offering wine tastings and the chance to learn about the science behind wine making. You’ll also get a chance to attend the spring preview of the Botanical Gardens Farmers Market and enjoy fresh treats while viewing 657,000 daffodils on display at Daffodil Hall.
“David Bowie Is” Exhibition
For general music lovers, David Bowie die hards, and everyone else in between, this exhibit is added to our list. The exhibit, running through July 15th, highlights his life through songs, interviews, and narration. While walking through the museum you can see pictures and some of his most well known outfits and accessories on display.
More to Do
There are so many things to do in the city, and these are only a few. Whether you’re in the sky or walking the streets of New York, we hope you enjoy all springtime and the sunshine has to offer.
