Holidays in The Big Apple

The holiday season is the best time of the year, no lie. In all 3,007 cities in the U.S, from the months of October to January, there are a plethora of fun activities to do with specific holiday themes. But the city that has and continues to win the hearts of many all over the world is New York City.

From ice skating in Winter Village at Bryant Park to the classic Christmas plays, there’s never a shortage of fun holiday cheer to indulge yourself into when in NYC. Because New York is such a huge city, many families and other groups like to spend at least a week in the city for the holidays in order to cover as much ground as they possibly can.

Who doesn’t enjoy a night of singing or listening to a quartet or more of carolers sing a Christmas tune? Caroling is the best holiday tradition that NYC offers some of the best opportunities to get in on this festive activity. Of course it doesn’t just stop at caroling though. Local theaters will host weekends during the month of December where Christmas movies are screened, holiday windows and light shows are always a must see for fantastic photo opps, and the famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular never disappoints.

It’s something about the city of New York that no other city simply can’t beat. But it’s the most wonderful time of the year where NYC really shines. https://www.timeout.com/newyork/christmas
